Training

We meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings and locations vary from summer to winter.

We welcome runners of all abilities including beginners.  Due to the nature of some of the training sessions, if you are new to running, please contact one of our coaches beforehand to discuss what would be the best training plan for you.

Spring to Autumn Months (April to September)

Please note, as of 1st April 2022, we will be in our spring to autum training programme and most weeks our Tuesday sessions will start at 6:30pm at Bure Valley Football Club, 52 Rectory Road, Coltishall, NR12 7HP.  On Thursdays, we meet at the Village Hall or Church Rooms, also both in Rectory Road Coltishall, on either side of the street for a 6:30pm start.  We do sometimes use other venues for training and any change to venue or updates will be listed on Facebook at the beginning of the week and emailed to members.

The majority of Sunday Morning runs start at 8am from Coltishall Village hall, Rectory Road, Coltishall, NR12 7HP but we have a regular run from the cafe in the park on Laundry Lane in Norwich on the first Sunday of the month.

‘Recovering Runners’ Informal Training Groups

If you are getting back to running after injury or illness and miss the motivation of training with others, why not join or set-up a ‘recovering runners’ alternative training option? Using our Club Facebook page, previous informal sessions have included walk routes or cycle routes off Base.
