Holt 10k – Sunday 29th October 2017
A cool and breezy, but thankfully dry Sunday morning in North Norfolk greeted the runners for the popular Holt 10k, which was also the final event in the 2017 Leathes Prior Grand Prix series.
Hosted by the North Norfolk Beach Runners and starting in the grounds of Gresham School, the race commenced on the school sports fields, before heading north towards Weybourne. The undulating course was enjoyable and the section along an un-made track meant that this race would not count for official club records. The final 2 miles back to the finish were fairly tough, but some goods times were achieved by the Jags contingent. It was also great to see some on the course support from Mark Bradley and Scott Chadwick. Mark, as always, provided some excellent race photos.
Definitely an enjoyable last 10k for 2017 and a race I would like to run again.
