Buxton 5k Fun Run – Sunday 13 December 2015

After a bit of a break, the Buxton 5k fancy dress fun run was back and the Jags were prepared!  Alice and her Wonderland team, turned out in the most amazing fancy dress costumes!! Some fantastic efforts by all, landed them all a prize in the fancy dress competition.  Together with spot prizes and raffle prize wins, it was a good day for the Jags.

Oh and on to the race….first Jag home was our brilliant Jeremy Lawrence, finishing in 20.13, followed by Paul Groves in a time of 23.54.  First Jag lady back was Sharn Ponsford, dressed as a very fetching elf, in a time of 26.29.  Emma Jordan finishing just after in a time of 26.33.

The Wonderland Team consisting of Clare Hicks, Hilda Mears, Sarah Letzer, Vanessa Clements, Shirley Wilcock, Carole Neil, Henry Neal, Dee Neal, Steve Neal, Jenny Welsh, Annette Yeomanson and Becky Durant all crossing the line together in around 41.32!!!!!

What an amazingly fun day, great team spirit, brilliantly organised and of course not forgetting a charity race to raise money for Autism Anglia.
