Bungay Marathon, Half Marathon and 10k – 19 April 2015
Runners were spoilt for choice on this particular day, with three race distances to choose from!
The day was chilly but stayed dry for the runners and supporters.
In the 10k race four fabulous ladies took part! Nicola John achieving a time of 50.37 which gained her a bronze award! Clare Hicks came away with a PB of 59.53, Orla Cobb finished in 1.05.28 and Annette Yeomanson finished in 1.08.53. Phenomenal running by all!
The half marathon seemed to be the most popular for the Jaguars and many racing this distance for the first time!
Nick Hudson was the first Jag in at a time of 1.39.48, his first half marathon and achieving him a bronze club standard award. He was closely followed by James Lambert who knocked 3 minutes off his previous time and also achieved a bronze standard award.
This was a first half marathon for both Emma Wilcock and Emma Jordan and both achieved brilliant sub 2 hour times and bronze standard awards!!
Paul Groves and Jackie Gooch had phenomenal runs and both took around 7 minutes off their previous times which is an amazing achievement!!
Jackie Bye won her age group with a time of 1.54.14 and achieved herself a silver standard award!

The Coltishall Jaguars men were out in force for the full marathon, Zac Mace’s first time for this distance with a flying time of 3.11.57 and achieving a gold standard award! Scott Chadwick took over 17 minutes off his previous PB.
The determination of Mel Porter won through as even though cramp got to him near the end, he still managed to knock 12 minutes of his PB and won the fastest in his age group!
This was Paul Allen’s first marathon with a fantastic time of 4.05.17!
