Lord Mayor’s 5K Norwich City Centre Classic

Five Jaguars attempted this year’s annual Lord Mayor’s 5K Classic. Richard Bateson was first in for The Club in 16:55 (Diamond). Lawrence Wade came through in 17:16 (Diamond) and also won 2nd prize of £25 in the Men’s 40+ age category. Ian Jermy ran a gutsy race – his first 5K for The Club – coming home third Jaguar in a gold standard time of 18:30. Finally, Ben Dennington and Mark Harmer continue their “battle for supremacy” with Ben edging ahead on this occasion running his race in 19:12 (Silver) and Mark crossing the line in a time of 19:42 (Gold).

Congratulations to all of our athletes above who flew the Jaguars flag this year in this prestigious local race and mixed with the region’s best distance runners. Full Results
