Shouldham Warren Cross Country 9k

The sun always seems to shine on Shouldham and today was no exception and the good weather saw a few members turning out to run this tough 9k course for the first time. Lawrence Wade, Mark Haynes, Scott Chadwick and Denver Slowther competed well in the senior mens race. Matt Stone, who came away with the 2nd over 40 award, Alan Bushell and Richard Collyer had good runs in the 40-44 age group. Colin Robilliard, as tough as ever, won the 3rd 55+ award. The Jags females ran well with Emily Hannant competing in the senior ladies, followed in by Sarah Jay and Adele Bushell in the 40+ ladies category.  Still further down the field and really enjoying the course were Dave Hutcheon and Brenda Hutcheon (3rd 55+). Again we had some mini jags running with Maggie Mayo running another p.b. and Grace and George Bushell running at Shouldham for the first time.  The next race will be 6.5K on the 16th December.
