Shouldham Warren 5k Cross Country

This was the  first cross country of the year and once again the sun was shining on Shouldham. It was good to see Lawrence Wade, Richard and Dawn Collyer and Christine Cooke having a go at this cross country event for the first time, which is all part of good winter training ,and hopefully they will turn out  for the next race in November which is the extra tough hilly 9k.   Lawrence was 6th senior man in 18.07, Richard 8th v40 in 20.50, Dawn 8th senior lady in 25.20 and Christine 8th v45 in 24.37. Other regular runners at Shouldham were Darren Edridge 5th v4o in 19.28, Sarah Jay 6th v45 in 23.59, Dave Hutcheon ,who took a nasty tumble near the start of the race but managed to pick himself up and carry on  was  8th v60 in 26.10 and Brenda Hutcheon 3rd v55 in 27.01. There were two mini jags running in the under 9’s 800 metre race and both ran excellent p.b’s. Maggie Mayo was 6th girl in 3.37 and Alana Edridge 23rd girl in 4.22.  The next race in the series is on November 18th.   Full results
