Greater Manchester Marathon

In appauling weather conditions Denver Slowther and Mark Harmer ran their first marathon for the club and turned in excellent times.  They ran the whole course together helping each other through any bad patches and their pace was very consistent. The first half was run in 1.46 and the second half  just two minutes slower.  Denver crossed the line in 3.34.22  (splits here) followed by Mark timed at 3.34.23 (splits here). Well done lads.
