London Marathon
9 Jags travelled to our Capital City to run the 26.2 miles of the London Marathon and, hopefully, take in all the sites and wonderful atmosphere. The weather conditions were ideal and the rain, which was forecast, held off to make the running a pleasure. Although I doubt they’ll be saying that tomorrow morning when they try to get out of bed. Jeremy Lawrence was the first Jag home for the club in a p.b. time of 3.41.54. Rod Bye, Mel Porter, Martin Colley, Debbie Moore, Deb Jones, Felicity Foulds and Emma Blake ran the distance for the first time and at the moment probably thinking ‘never again’ but I bet they’ll change their minds in a couple of weeks time. Ben Letzer, after his fantastic marathon last week, decided to have a well deserved enjoyable run.
