The Club AGM will take place on the 24th February at 19:30 and in a change from previous years will be held at The Lodge, Salhouse.
The draw for The London Marathon took place at the club Christmas party and the two lucky people to be pulled out of the hat were Mel Porter and Debbie Moore. Congratulations to you both – you’d better get down to some hard training. The reserve is Zep Ciarla.
The achievement awards went jointly to Melanie Burch and Claire Owen who both ran 8 p.b’s and Andrew Mulligan and Mark Harmer with 7 p’b.s. The winners of the handicap series were Christine Cooke and Jeremy Lawrence. Congratulations to you all.
At present there is a full stock of Club Kit i.e Jackets, T.Shirts and Vests. Please contact Alan on 01603 737262 if you would like to purchase an item.
The next beach run will be Sunday 19th February at Winterton Beach Car Park 9.30 am.

Club Standards
They apply to the following standard road race distances: 5K, 5M, 10K, 10M, 1/2 Marathon 15M, 20M and Full Marathon, but you don’t need to run all of these! To qualify, you need to equal or better the standard time for your age group. All you need is a copy of the official results as proof of your time.
The aim of the running club standards is to give each runner, regardless of ability, the motivation and the focus to train for a specific goal. Setting realistic and achievable standards within the club not only encourages a sense of fulfilment on achieving your target but will also hopefully motivate and inspire other athletes to do the same. You don’t have to be a Paula Radcliffe to achieve these standards, but you will have to train for them !!!!
We have one set of standard times for the open age category and one set for each 5-year veteran category.
Categories are as follows:-
Bronze (the easiest) Silver Gold Diamond Platinum (the hardest)
