Peterborough Half Marathon – 11 October 2015
It was a beautiful sunny day in Peterborough for this years’ Perkins Great Eastern Run. In a field of around 5,000 runners, were 13 Jaguars!
Described as a flat and fast course, it certainly was and that is reflected in the many PBs that came the Jaguars way!
First home for our club was, of course, the phenomenal Jeremy Lawrence! Running his way to yet another PB and a Diamond standard with a time of 1.33.32! First lady home was Vicky Tovell, who with a first time record at this distance ran a time of 1.43.26 and a Gold standard!!
Some fantastic PBs, including Rosemary Jackson gaining a Diamond standard and a sub 2 hours time with a time of 1.58.54 and Clare Hicks knocking nearly 7 minutes off her previous PB with a time of 2.07.49!!
Well done all that took park, in what was a well organised and enjoyable race!!
